What we'll aim to do:

Move with the tides: understanding the importance of tide times.

Reel it right: know your rods & reels

Weights and hooks: Learn about weights and hook sizes

All knots everything: Practising different types of knots

Rigs and that: Understanding you rig set up and practise making your own

Casting: how to cast

Baits and Lure: fresh baits vs lures

What we catching?!: understanding fish species, size limits and behaviour.

Beach clean up session (bring gloves/ litter picker): we are passionate about looking after the land. It's time to give back.

What people should bring: Warm clothing, chair and blanket if possible (fishing is about the waiting and watching) but we do have some chairs and of course bring fishing gear if you have some. If not don't worry come as you are and we'll hook you up.

Hot drinks available at Lazy Shack or bring a flask.

Be aware you might not actually catch a fish. We'll be focusing on learning how to fish and practising your technique.
